Who we are

Pahadi Trails (“we”, “us”) plans private and small-group journeys in Himachal Pradesh, India. These terms apply when you enquire about, book or travel on one of our Routes.

Enquiries and quotes

An enquiry through our website is free and does not commit you to anything. A quote is valid for 14 days and becomes a booking only when you confirm it in writing and pay the deposit.

Payments

We ask for a 30% deposit to confirm a booking and the balance 30 days before you travel. Prices are per person on a twin-share basis unless your quote says otherwise, and include the stays, transport and hosting listed in your itinerary.

Changes and cancellations

You can change dates or stays free of charge up to 21 days before you travel, subject to availability. If you cancel more than 30 days before departure we refund your payment minus the deposit; within 30 days the full amount is non-refundable unless we can re-book your stays.

Weather, roads and passes

Mountain roads and high passes close for snow, landslides and repairs. If a road or pass on your Route is closed, we will change the plan to keep you safe and as close to the original journey as we can. We cannot refund for changes caused by weather or government closures, but we will always offer an alternative.

Your responsibilities

Please travel with valid ID, any permits your Route needs, and travel insurance that covers trekking and altitude where relevant. Tell us about any health conditions that may affect your journey so we can plan the pace and stays around them.

Liability

We choose our stays, drivers and guides with care, but we are not liable for loss, injury or delay caused by third parties, weather or events outside our control. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under Indian consumer law.
